The Grade 6 Piano Anthology 2025-2026 comprises a broad selection of examination pieces from lists A, B and C of the ABRSM syllabus, together with a valuable selection of fascinating repertoire suitable for the own-choice section of the Performance Exam.
The anthology supports students preparing for ABRSM Practical Exams or Performance Exams. Performance Notes are included for each piece, written by Norman Beedie (Lecturer in Classical Improvisation, Piano and Conducting at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland) and Ateş Orga (Formerly Lecturer in Music at the University of Surrey and Examiner at the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) which give advice on technique and interpretation for each piece, and guidance on preparing an effective programme.
“I am happy to confirm that those wanting to put together a full examination programme from these volumes will have little difficulty in finding a wealth of inspiring material here.…. the Edition Peters Anthologies are an absolute must for those keen to delve into the many brilliant pieces lurking on the alternative choice lists.” Andrew Eales, www. pianodao.com, November 2024
